In the fiscal year 2017-18, Foundation raised over $1 million during the Annual Campaign and the Wildcat Derby Spring Auction to expand and enrich academic programs for all Woodside High School students. . As a result, many of our students are attending classes with a lower student-to-teacher ratio, including AS, AP and core English, social sciences, math classes, and electives. Class size reduction touches more than 75 classrooms, providing students with a personalized, encouraging classroom experience. Our students are also able to take advantage of a robust variety of elective courses, including Digital Arts, Robotics, Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management. And virtually all students benefit from increased academic support, including AP test coordination, DEN after-school homework and tutoring, field trips, ChromeBooks, summer enrichment classes, and guidance from two College and Career Counselors.
