Tour for Woodside
The 2nd Tour for Woodside was a HUGE success. Participation was nearly double that of the 2006 inaugural event with 795 riders cycling 3 different routes, enjoying well-stocked rest stops manned by enthusiastic volunteers and the fantastic end-of-ride barbeque provided by Draeger’s.
Thank you to the 150 volunteers, our sponsors and all those who joined the ride; the Tour For Woodside is truly a collaborative, community event. We look forward to another exciting event next year!
Income from the event supports the WHS Endowment and will be used to fund ongoing programs in the areas of English language skills, focused college prep course work for the socio-economically disadvantaged students and peer to peer counseling.
