The General Fund

The Woodside High School Foundation brings parents and community members together to improve the quality of education at Woodside High School by raising funds for grants that have a substantial and lasting impact on the entire school community. Teachers and Staff submit Grant requests which are reviewed by the Principal, the Instructional Vice Principal and the Foundation board.

Donations to the 2008/2009 General Fund will be used to:

  • Reduce class sizes in core subjects
  • Develop programs to improve the learning experience and performance for middle-level students
  • Staff Development
  • Support staff and students through directed grants

The Foundation recognizes donations at the following giving levels in our Annual Report unless you request that your donation be anonymous.

  • Visionary: $10,000 and above
  • Benefactor: $5,000-$9,999
  • Patron: $2,500-$4,999
  • Pioneer: $1,000-$2,499
  • Builder: $500-$999
  • Sponsor: $250-$499
  • Supporter: $1-$249
