Fall Campaign
We depend on the annual Fall Direct Mail Campaign to raise about 1/3 of the general fund grants to WHS.
Our annual Fall Campaign brochure is sent to community and alumni supporters as well as the current school community. It’s a great opportunity to tell everyone about the work of the Foundation and how donations can help fill critical gaps in program and equipment funding.
Foundation grants are at work in virtually every classroom and every support service at WHS to benefit our highly diverse student population.
Current needs include:
- Reduce class sizes in core subjects
- Staff development and enrichment
- Develop programs to improve the learning experience and performance for middle-level students
- Student support services such as Students Offering Support and MESA/AVID
- Principal’s Discretionary Fund
All donations are tax-deductible. You can donate online via PayPal or download a donation form. We also welcome donations of securities and grants to our Endowment Fund. Please contact Jayne Smith at 650-368-9900 or treasurer@whsfoundation.org for help with these transactions.
